Getting Started

Set up Mirsah from your first install to your first organized Workspace.

This is the shortest path through the essentials. You do not need to configure every setting before Mirsah becomes useful.

An account is required to use Mirsah.

  1. Install Mirsah

Choose an available browser listing below. Chrome and Brave currently use the Chrome-compatible release; other store availability may still be in review or coming soon.

    • Google ChromeAvailable
    • Mozilla FirefoxAvailable
    • Microsoft EdgeComing soon
    • BraveAvailable · Uses the Chrome-compatible Mirsah build.
  2. Sign in or create your account

Mirsah requires an account. Sign in with email and password or use Google sign-in, then continue into your New Tab workspace.

  3. Bring in existing bookmarks

If your browser supports direct bookmark access, you can start the import yourself and approve the optional bookmark permission when asked. Direct browser import is available on Free. You can also restore a Mirsah backup; external HTML bookmark-file import is a Pro feature.

  4. Create your first Workspace

Use a Workspace for a context you want to keep separate, such as Work, Personal, Learning, or Project Alpha. These are examples, not a required structure.

  5. Add Groups inside the Workspace

Groups keep related links together inside a Workspace. For example, a work Workspace might contain Project Alpha, Research, and Internal tools.

  6. Save links as you go

Add a link normally when you are organizing inside Mirsah. When you are on another page, trigger Quick Save to carry that page’s title and URL into Mirsah and finish choosing where it belongs.

  7. Find saved links again

Use Search to look through links saved in your Workspaces and Groups. If you explicitly choose web search instead, Mirsah hands the query to the browser search API.

  8. Make the New Tab comfortable to scan

Start with the layout, density, and built-in wallpaper options. Pro also supports your own image or live wallpaper, but customization is optional.

  9. Keep a backup and sync only if you want it

Free includes a local Mirsah backup. Pro cloud sync can keep supported workspace data and settings in your account for sync and recovery across devices. Cloud sync is not required and can be turned off.

  10. Know where to get help

Use Support for troubleshooting, Privacy for data and permission details, and Contact when you need to reach the Mirsah team.

You now know the core workflow.
